With 2025 mere months away, pretty soon we’ll be reflecting on the year that’s passed.
If you’re curious to get a glimpse into the future, then fortuneteller Baba Vanga has made some pretty wild predictions for the new year.
From another huge war breaking out in Europe, to humans battling martians, we’re in for a rocky ride.
The Bulgarian psychic, who was blind at birth, has supposedly foreseen some pretty major world events, including 9/11, the death of Princess Diana, and even her own tragic death.
The psychic made some pretty bold statements about this year – and some have already come true.
We take a look back at Baba Vanga’s 2024 forecast to see which of her visions came to life.

Terrorism
Baba Vanga claimed there would be increased terrorist attacks this year and, according to the Global Terrorism Index 2024 report, that appears to be the case.
The report says terrorism increased by 22 percent this year to 8,352, the highest level since 2017.
Natural disasters
The mystic foresaw more terrifying weather events – and that’s certainly been the case. In recent weeks alone, Hurricanes Helene and Milton have devastated parts of the US, with the latter prompting scientists to consider creating a new, stronger category of storm.

Elsewhere in the world, Jamaica was hit by Storm Beryl, Pakistan faced deadly floods, and wildfires raged in parts of the US and Canada.
Recessions
Baba Vanga warned of economic crisis in her 2024 forecast. Sure enough, both the UK and Japan found themselves facing financial hardships this year.
The UK slumped into recession towards the end of last year, while the Office of National Statistics (ONS), said in February that gross domestic product (GDP) fell by a larger than expected 0.3 percent in the three months to December in the UK.
The country managed to climb out of recession this May, with its strongest economic growth since late 2021. I suppose Baba Vanga didn’t say how long the recession would last.
Earlier this year, Japan moved down one position to fourth in global standings as it faced economic challenges.
Health treatments
There was some hope among the doom and gloom Baba Vanga predicted. The psychic reckoned humanity would shackle cancer ‘with iron chains’.
Baba Vanga herself died of breast cancer at the age of 84 in 1996.

There have been a number of cancer treatment breakthroughs this year, including a lung cancer vaccine, LungVax, in the works.
Scientists from the University of Oxford, the Francis Crick Institute and University College London (UCL) received £1.7 million ($2,139,225) from charities Cancer Research UK and the CRIS Cancer Foundation to fund 3,000 vaccines.
A ground-breaking brain cancer treatment could also be available in the UK within the next five years. drug ipilimumab – has proven particularly effective for patients who have not responded to conventional therapies.
Dr Paul Mulholland, who is pioneering the treatment at University College London, found that the drug ipilimumab has proven effective for patients who have not responded to conventional therapies.
What hasn’t come true?
While there’s two and a half months of the year left, a handful of Baba Vanga’s predictions haven’t come true. These include the assassination – or attempted assassination – of Vladimir Putin.
Another grim prediction included a ‘major country’ testing or deploying bioweapons. Let’s hope she’s wrong about this one.
Calendars at the ready, everyone. Viral Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga’s 2025 predictions are here – and there’s definitely some cause for concern.
Born Vangelia Pandeva Gushterova, Baba Vanga has a knack for predicting the future. Over the years, her followers claim she foresaw some pretty major events, including 9/11, Princess Diana’s death and the election of Barack Obama as US President.
She may have died in 1996, but she made her eerie predictions far, far into the future.
Let’s take a look at what’s in store for 2025, according to Baba Vanga…

War in Europe
It’s not the cheeriest of starts, but it is Baba Vanga’s belief that war will break out in Europe next year.
You’re right in thinking there already is a war ongoing in Europe (Russia and Ukraine), but apparently this new conflict will be big enough to ‘devastate’ the population. Lovely.
Aliens
Baba Vanga has a long history with aliens and alien invasions. She thought we’d get to meet our interstellar neighbors in 2022 – but unless we missed something pretty major, that didn’t happen.
Turns out those other predictions were false starts though; 2025 is definitely the year. Apparently, the aliens’ appearance will coincide with a major sporting event.
Perhaps they just want to catch Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show at the Super Bowl.
Lewis Hamilton will win his eighth World Championship
Talking of sport, Baba Vanga made sure to throw her support behind Britain’s own Lewis Hamilton.
Quite how this prediction came about – with Hamilton being about 11 when Baba Vanga died and obviously not a big name on the F1 circuit – remains to be seen, but the Ferrari driver will apparently win his eighth title in 2025. That will see him overtake the legendary Michael Schumacher.

Could this be the major sporting event the aliens will show up at?
Human telepathy
Do you like keeping your thoughts to yourself? Well, that will be a thing of the past next year, according to Baba Vanga.
The psychic has always been an advocate of mind-reading and she believes telepathy will become a very real thing in 2025.
Human organs grown in labs
This wouldn’t be the first time in which Baba Vanga has weighed in on the prospect of growing humans in labs, with 2025 specifically becoming the year we see human organs grown in-house.
Unlike the other predictions of mostly doom and gloom, this would actually be a major breakthrough in human science and extend the life expectancy of many.
A new energy source
Ending on another positive prediction, 2025 will apparently see us discover a new form of energy.
Naturally, Baba Vanga didn’t provide us with any further details – looks like we’ll have to wait until next year for more information.

Baba Vanga made some terrifying predictions for 2025, which means it could be the end of the world as we know it.
The late Bulgarian mystic may have died in 1996, but her spirit very much remains alive to this day.
That is because the predictions she made long before her passing have become scarily accurate.
For example, she said that in 2023 we’d experience a solar storm, and for those that can remember, we certainly did.
The storm hit on December 1 last year, with scientists issuing warnings of potential blackouts at the time.

As for 2024, Vanga said that they will be increased terrorist attacks and that Vladimir Putin would be the victim of an assassination attempt.
An economic crisis was also predicted, and I think many Americans can attest to that.
Well, Vanga is back at it again as her predictions for 2025 have resurfaced, as per various reports.
While Vanga suggested that humanity would not be wiped out until 5079, the apocalypse will apparently commence in 2025.
So, what is the prediction wiz’s timeline for the end of humanity?
Well, a conflict in Europe in 2025 will devastate the continent’s population, while humans will begin to explore Venus as an energy source in 2028.
Vanga also predicted that polar ice caps will melt in 2033, subsequently raising sea levels to drastic heights worldwide.
Before a lot of more bad things happen over the years, Vanga predicted the world would end in 5079.
And to be honest, Vanga has predicted an awful lot correct over the years, so these predictions certainly shouldn’t be taken lightly.
The attacks that took place on 9/11 shook the world and were absolutely not expected, but Vanga has since been credited with predicting the attacks back in 1989.

She’s reported as saying: “Horror, Horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing.”
Vanga’s mention of ‘steel birds’ is believed to refer to the planes used to carry out the attacks.
Of course, we don’t know when our last day on Earth is going to be.
Vanga, however, apparently did.
The clairvoyant is said to have predicted her death right down to the day, on 11 August, 1996.
Here’s hoping the terrifying predictions on the horizon made by Vanga do not come to fruition.

As we approach a new year and prepare to find out whether Baba Vanga’s predictions for 2024 are true, here’s everything the clairvoyant has got right so far.
Thanks to social media and an ever-increasing number of conspiracy theories, the internet is full nowadays of people claiming they can see the future, or sense when something bad is coming.
Sometimes these predictions go absolutely nowhere, and sometimes they draw in millions of people and cause chaos across the globe.
However, there aren’t many future-tellers out there with a track record like Baba Vanga’s.
Born in 1911, Vanga was blind since childhood but claimed to be able to see all sorts of events set to come in the future.
She died in 1996, but her predictions had seemingly already started coming true, with the Chernobyl disaster and Princess Diana’s death both said to be events Vanga saw coming.

Here are some of her other predictions:
The Kursk disaster
In 1980, when Vanga was still alive, she claimed to anticipate a disaster in the Russian city of Kursk which left it ‘covered with water’.
She claimed the ‘whole world [would] weep’ over the event, which appeared to come into fruition just 20 years later.
In August 2000, while on a naval exercise inside the Arctic Circle, a Russian submarine named Kursk sank to the bottom of the ocean, killing all 118 people on board.
Assassination of Indira Gandhi
In 1969, Vanga claimed to have a vision of the prime minister of India, Gandhi.
“The dress will destroy her. I see an orange-yellow dress in the smoke and fire,” Vanga said.
Less than 20 years later, Gandhi was shot dead by two of her bodyguards while wearing a saffron-coloured saree.

September 11 attacks
The attacks that took place on 9/11 shook the world and were absolutely not expected, but Vanga has since been credited with predicting the terror attack years earlier, in 1989.
Barack Obama
Obama made history when he was elected as president in 2009, but years before his campaign even began, Vanga apparently saw it coming as she claimed the 44th president would be Black.

Vanga’s own death
Most people have no idea when their last day on Earth could be, but apparently Vanga could.
The clairvoyant is said to have predicted her death right down to the day, on 11 August, 1996.
Floods and droughts
Vanga appeared to know that climate change would have a hefty impact on life on Earth, as she predicted that in 2022, large cities would be hit by droughts and water shortages.
That year, the UK experienced its driest July since 1935, prompting the government to declare a drought in August 2022.
Vanga also suggested Australia and Asia would have to deal with severe floods; a prediction which apparently came true in July 2022, when eight months of rain fell in Sydney in just four days.
In Japan, residents struggled with a major tropical storm which prompted the weather agency to warn of flooding.

Vanga may not be able to make any new predictions now, but her existing visions are still underway as she made a number of claims about 2024 before she passed away.

Here we are, folks! So close to the New Year I can almost smell the fireworks and champagne.
But with a new year comes new predictions, and they aren’t always the most optimistic.
If Baba Vanga’s predictions for 2024 are right, there’s a few precautions that we all need to be taking as the Bulgarian mystic has had a knack for accurately predicting disasters in the past.
Although she passed away in 1996, she left the world a gift of a list of future events which could change the course of everything we know.
For example, some of the things Vanga has been able to predict includes the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the dissolution of the Soviet Union and even the Chernobyl tragedy.
Her gift for predicting the future even continued into this year, where she allegedly shed light into solar activity which would impact Earth (do you remember this happening recently?)
HTB
Well, she was nearly correct in this prediction as there were recent reports and expectations for three solar flares to hit Earth this month.
Even though there is a lack of written records of Vanga’s predictions, as more and more things come true, she continues to receive credit, and it’s clear many people are convinced by her abilities.
But what did she think about 2024? here’s what Vanga expects to happen:
YouTube/ Fabina Sbina
1) Vladimir Putin will be targeted by an assassin
Vanga has reportedly claimed that someone will attempt to kill the Russian president, who was responsible for launching the military operation that began the ongoing war in Ukraine.
2) Biological weapons and increased terrorist attacks
The predictor believed that the number of terrorist attacks would increase in Europe, and that a ‘big country’ is set to test biological weapons in the new year.
3) Massive economic crisis
I mean, you could say that we’ve been in an economic crisis for long enough now, but Vanga alleged that there is more to come due to geopolitical tensions, a shift in economic power from the West to the East, and escalating debt levels.

4) Terrifying weather events
Due to climate change, this prediction isn’t at all surprising as countries all across the world are experiencing increasingly extreme weather events. But according to Vanga, there’s more to come.
5) Cyber attacks
Considering the internet was only in its infancy when she passed away, the mystic’s prediction that hackers will increase their attacks in the online space is impressive.
She claimed cyber attacks will take place against vital infrastructure, in turn creating a danger to security.
6) New treatments for illnesses
Thankfully, there’s some positivity to look forward to out of this giant list of disasters.
Vanga anticipated new treatments may become available for illnesses that are currently considered to be terminal.
However, we’ll only know for sure if any of this is real when it actually happens. So, it’s best to prepare just in case.
