Man who cut off fingers and ears to become an alien explains daily struggle he faces because of his looks

A man who has taken body modification to the extreme has revealed the daily struggles he faces thanks to his looks.

Anthony Loffredo cut off some of his fingers and both ears in a bid to achieve his dream of becoming an ‘alien‘.

The French native’s journey began a decade ago when he had his tongue split like a snake.

Now 36 years old, he’s tattooed almost all his body black – including his eyes – had facial implants and even amputated part of his lips and nose.

Some of his modifications were so extreme, he had to travel to different parts of the world to get them done. But standing out of the crowd brings its own problems, as Anthony has found out.

In the 2023 documentary I Transformed Myself Into An Alien, Anthony gets candid about the discrimination he faces in his day-to-day life.

He recalls being barred from restaurants, turned down from job interviews, and having Uber drivers simply zooming past him.

The guy can’t even open an OnlyFans account because the app couldn’t recognize him to verify his profile.

Anthony provided further insight on the Club 113 podcast in 2022, explaining: “It’s an everyday struggle, because every day you find new people who don’t understand, who want to judge.

“That’s life; not everyone understands everything, just like I don’t understand many things about many people.”

It must take its toll as last year, Anthony – who now lives in Mexico – announced he was putting the project on pause.

His next phase was to amputate his leg, replacing it with a biomechanical prosthetic. It’s understood this never went ahead.

And last December, he pulled the plug on the rest of the Black Alien journey altogether. In an Instagram post, he announced ‘the project had lost all meaning’ to him.

But his hiatus didn’t last long, and over summer, the tattoo enthusiast returned to offer fans the opportunity to join him in his transformation through the Black Alien ink programme.

The course gives fans the chance to learn about safety, health, hygiene and, of course, tattooing, so they can give body makeovers too.

Apparently, the course is highly successful as its website says: “Our method is not special, it is not a secret, it is not magic… it just works.

“And yes, there are other ways to learn, some cheaper, others more expensive…But there are NO better ones.”

Bold claims from Anthony there.

Anthony still keeps his 1.3 million fans updated on Instagram. Last week, he teased he was now 75 percent of the way through his transformation.

Captioning a video of him getting more of his face tattooed black, he wrote: “I come back strong to the game, with my great evolution, I love this face a little uglier.”
